Hi all. I have an 86 Bronco II. It was actually my bronco when I was 16 and my husband is rebuilding it for our 15yr old son. My husband and I are battling about what size tire/wheel and lift. Of course my son and husband have it in their mind to do a 4” suspension lift and 33 tires. But I want stock. I remember that thing being top heavy as it was and am nervous about the lift. Does anyone have any pics of what a 3-4” lift with 32-33 tires looks like? Thanks!!!!
I have an 86, i got it in 96 with stock size 205/75/15. I eventually put 225/70/15, which is again a tad bit higher and my Speedo is off by 3 mph but that's where i'm sticking for the same reason that you mention as top heavy, besides you know how much 33x10 tires cost and lift kits and all the other problems and labor costs? Camber shims, drive shafts, steering issues, i have been reading and watching lots of that on facebook B2 groups. I always think of that whenever i see so many B2's that have been lifted even 2". However i have read that you can fit 235/75/15 without rubbing or lifting, you can find pics of that also. I'm aiming for Coopers 225/70/15 soon. Good luck!
