I added power fold mirrors to my 2018 F350 XLT and have run into a problem with just the passenger's side mirror not folding and puddle lamps aren't working. The passenger's side mirror telescopes, turn signal works, and the mirror adjustments work but it won't fold. It doesn't appear to be getting power to passenger's side mirror pins #18 or #19. I followed the steps and FORSCAN codes from this FTE link but my truck seems hell bent to change the codes slightly when I write them. Everything on the driver's side is working fine. Any ideas?
Any reason why putting 12V directly to the back of the passenger's side mirror connection at pin position #18 or #19 wouldn't cause the mirror to power fold?
I added PDM part number JC3T-14B533 AA after getting the part number from a 2018 F250 Lariat that had power fold mirrors. Picked up a unit of Fleabay and it was plug and play. Didn't have to update Forscan or anything. The DDM I used is the one listed in the link: DG9Z-14B291-WP
