Hospital rant
There is usually a spot checked on that wad of papers they give you when you check out of the ER that says check with your regular Doctor. The Doctor treating you probably mentioned it also. All they do in the ER is try to get you stable so that you can see your regular Doctor during office hours. The ER is not a total care operation...
I understand about ER my exwife is a trauma nurse.
I kept asking the Doc if he was sure I didnt cut the tendon, he kept saying no the tendons fine...... I guess Im upset because I thought I was gonna get better not worse. I trusted someone I shouldnt have and now it has cost me a lot..........

My wife went into the hospital three weeks early when her water started to leak with our first son on a Monday night. She was in very light labor for all of Monday night and into Tuesday. About noon on Tuesday the doctor gave her pitocin to induce hard labor. At about 7:00 she was in a lot of pain when the doctor made her final rounds she has only dilated to 1 cm. The doctor said to let the pitocin work, and went home. After 24 hours of labor and no baby I thought she should have done a C-section. My wife told me to shut up; the doctor has 8-10 years of schooling my experience with birth was limited to farm animals. During the night the baby’s heart monitor showed the heart rate dropping by more then half with every contraction (all completely normal our nurses told us).
Next morning 36+ hours of labor she was still only dilated to 1 cm. The doctor decided that it was time to go ahead and do the C-section. My 5’1” 98 pound wife had a 9 pound 6 ounce baby boy. The doctor admitted there was very little chance she could have had the baby naturally, especially since she wasn’t dilating. Three years and many doctors later it has been revealed that our son has epilepsy, no family history and the only trauma he has experienced in the difficult birth. We where also told the heart rate dropping was something the doctor should not have allowed to happen for over 12 hours. As I told my wife, the doctor just wanted to go home, and figured my wife could hold out until morning.
