I'll have to find my receipt, I think it was only about $120. and about $75. core charge. I remember just searching on the net and found several sites selling reman computers. That was about a year and a half ago and the computer still works fine.

I cycled sw on off to run fuel from front fuel pump to ck for flow,it did its thing for 3sec. cycle,I did this for a count of 15 to make sure I was getting fuel,(did both fuel pumps in tanks) had fuel. It won't even cough, bad ing. computer? I understand the timing is controlled by this computer. Any ideas ? I don't need to spend a fortune I don't have sw parts because I don't have a computer to hook it up to. Thanks
Thought I would quote myself to show others the start of these posts. I finally got it going , it was my first thought...high pressure pump, the one at the front inside frame rail. I decided that I would change it since it was 18 years old even if I was getting fuel from it. Must not have been able to build enough pressure. The truck acted like it was flooding and my first thought was pump failure, it still surges, could be the begining of some dead gas and condensate in tank...Gotta love hindsight. Thanks for all the help everybody I'll be around.
