engine not starting

I have a 4 cyl 96 Ford Ranger. The other day I went to the store when I tried to start it, it would not turn at at all. I pumped the clutch hard a couple of times and it started fine. the next 3 times it started with no problems. Yesterday I went to start and nothing. Pumped the clutch nothing. So I replaced the ignition switch, start relay, and starter. It still will not turn over. HELP

Welcome to FTE josepmar,
I pumped the clutch hard a couple of times and it started fine.
From the above statement, I'd say that it is the clutch/ignition safety switch.

BUT:

1st, I'd pull the OBD-II computer codes to be sure!

Whats happening when its not starting? If it cranks but no-go then look at the codes and fuel pressure. If its a no-crank condition then look at the battery and cables.

Thanks. I found it after dismatnling the inside of the truck I found a disconnected wire way in there. New connector for a dollar and fixed. I think I worked backwards on this one...
