It should have thrown you something if it was clogged, but I wonder if something got its way in, like air is physically not moving through. I pretty much have no more ideas on the failure to start.

 

Update: I pulled all the plugs and shot a little oil in the ports and let the engine set for 2 days to get rid of any excess gas (in case it was flooded) since a mechanic told me to try it. Then I put all new plugs in (old style copper Motorcraft) since iv been reading that the old 302 engines didn't platinum plugs. I also bought a new coil and installed it as well.....I had fire on the old MSD coil but the spark looked weak from the beginning in my opinion. After all of this the engine finally started up and ran smooth for the first ten min so I took it out for a test drive and noticed an occasional spark knock when accelerating. This truck has never had a spark knock ever since I have owned it. What could be causing this to happen after basically all new ignition parts and sensors with the exception of the distributor itself? All in all I think my original problem was a weak MSD coil and it's now replaced with an ACCEL super coil. Thanks again for all of the input from all who took the time to share their knowledge!

I just need to figure out what is causing the spark knock now.....smh
