When I purchased my 2020 F-450 from the previous owner the original mirror lights had been replaced with switchbacks. Issue is, they didn't retain the spotlight function. Looking to replace them with switchbacks that do have the spotlight function.

Is switchback the brand name? I've never heard of them, either.
Switchback denotes that the bulbs switch back and forth from amber to white. I have them for front turns on my 2022. They're white as running lights but turn amber when they flash as turn signals.

Do you mean the puddle lights on the bottom side of the mirror? Or the mirror turn signals?
If you're talking about the mirror's built in turn signals, mine are both white and amber from the factory. I wonder if yours are too and you only think they were somehow changed to switchbacks? Maybe your issue is switch related or a different problem.
I think the factory switches in the dash normally turns on whichever side mirror you select in white. But I installed a Wicked Warnings module in mine. The left or driver side switch activates both sides in white strobe mode. The passenger or right side switch activates both in always on solid white mode. Turn signals in the mirrors flash amber.

No, a feature of some trucks, mine included, are actual small spotlights in the side mirrors that can be activated as long as you're under 7 mph. My lights were changed and the model that was installed run white and go amber when turn signals are activated but the actual spotlight bulb was removed.
