You didn't ask, but here's my advice- get rid of that wire nut. Those headlight switch harnesses are fire-prone enough even when properly terminated.

I've always been wary of how hot those get. Do you think the wire nuts are a danger? Shorting out or?

I've yet to have a need for it myself, but if that's ABS, and I think it is, plumber's glue should work.

Yes, when subjected to vibration, they're known to either fall off or get toasty due to poor contact

It worked. Ended up using a pan head screw, maybe a #8, on the side with the plastic nut.
