So I guess I'm not doing too bad then with the ziptie holding just the right amount of upward pull to keep it off that P/S pump fitting, Not a huge fan of redneck engineering like this but It's been that way for literally years now as the best fix I could come up with. Never thought to actually pad up/cover the P/S pump part with a rubber boot but I suppose that works too. The pipe itself is the problem but mayyybe swapping the boots for the thicker Riff-Raff ones that have less give or flex to them would hold the OEM pipe steady enough to where it has no further interest in rubbing on the P/S pump. That might be a cheap(ish) realistic fix to try for lack of a pipe that just works.

Problems like that all over my truck and I get tired of having to keep track of them all
