351w heat
I am trying to get a 351 windsor running again. The truck is a 1984. The previous owners had tried to put a new engine into it and tore the wiring harness. After several unsucessful attempts to get it to run right, they jerked all the original ignition hardware out. I have been working on converting it back to the old style vacuum advance ignition system. After purchasing parts from a local mechanic who has now passes away, I was able to get it fired back up, but in a very short amount of time, two headers become white hot. Its #5 & #6 right next to each other. ANy suggestions??
