Need some info

What is the name of this part that broke off? I have a 2007 F-350 King Ranch. I had to glue this part down before, but yesterday during a storm while I was on the interstate, it broke off. What is the name of the part or part number? Going to get it replaced.

Hard to tell unless you take the pic standing further back. Did you try driving it to the dealership and having the parts guy take a peek?

Some cab moulding or trim would be the name but again, picture is too close to really tell what we're looking at.

I think they are called Roof Cab Corner mouldings, There are 2 versions, one for rear windows with rubber weather striping around rear window and later version without rubber weather striping (glued in window)

I took it to a great body shop in town. They are going to paint the part to match, install it and touch up some scratches for me next week.

Almost every truck I see has that issue, mine included as of about a year ago both are gone.

Thanks for the input. Looking at it, it does not make sense why they made it like that. Engineers really get on my nerves, but the designers and engineers screwed this up. I've been noticing other brands, none of them have something like that.
