2003 F350, diesel 6.0. under hood on passenger side on top of fender well near the battery, I see four melted wires I have no idea what they go to anyone? I’m trying to troubleshoot why the 4 x 4 won’t work in this and I’m having a bit of difficulty.. getting P1815 , P1876, P1832. already went through the troubleshooting checklist posted on here fuse’s are all good, both relay’s are good, unplugged the two wire harness, going to 4wd shifter located on transfer case and there is no signal when engaging the four-wheel-drive selector in the dash. Replaced four-wheel-drive, selector in dash and problem remains. Was wondering if these burned up wires have anything to do with it but I doubt it. i’m getting another code for neutral safety switch, but don’t believe that should impact the four-wheel-drive because the transmission is going into gear and it is drivable.
