1987 F150 Question

I'm new to the truck world bought the truck about 3 weeks ago, anyways my question is about the brake pedal. When i use the brakes the pedal doesn't release all the way, so i lift the pedal up with my foot and it makes a hissing noise sounds like air is leaking? So my question i guess its what do i need to do. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your booster just died. Fun! they usualy do that when they first go bad. I would replace it quick so you don't tear up your brakes.

There not that hard to replace...I just bought my 87 about 3 weeks ago too, but the guy forgot to replace the brake pads =)
