I'm at the end of my rope. I recently had my 2002 f150 super crew t-boned and currently awaiting insurance BS to finalize. I searched and found a great deal on a 2014 FX4 that I couldn't pass up, beautiful truck and everything seems to work except when I tried to use the hands free phone calls. I have been in contact with and spent literally hours with sync and Verizon support on this and nothing seems to work. The local Ford dealership said I would have to drop it off and pay the $200 diagnostics fee before they'll even look at it and it could cost upwards of $2,000 if they find they need to replace the system! My issue is, I have connection to the phones, my Google pixel 7 pro and my wife's iPhone. It will play Pandora, Google maps audio and everything else except when I call or answer phone calls. Main reason for the system if you ask me. I've updated sync and was at the point that Verizon even sent me a replacement phone to test which didn't work either. From what I gathered neither of them have a clue what they're doing and just want to throw new at it. I believe it's the truck and not the phones but at this point I'm almost ready to give up and accept the fact that it's just not going to ever work. Shame because I love the truck and everything else about it. This has been a thorn in my side for weeks, can anyone actually help me out with this?
Welcome, sorry to heart about your problem. Hopefully someone on FTE can come up with an answer. My wife's Escape radio died, replaced it with an after market system and wasn't cheap.
