I'm about to replace my ball joints, and will be replacing just about every thing I can get to while I’m at it. My problem being I’m having a heck of a time finding the premiums locally, and no one can tell me if i need a conversion kit. It currently has the 3 bolt autos. Do I need a kit to convert to what I think is six bolt?
The warn regular hubs work fine-why pay the extra $ if ya dont need too-they all have the same warranty-you do need a kit to convert the hub nut about 30$-4 wheel parts wholesalers carry all the items needed and you can order for direct delivery to your door
You need the conversion kit. I had to get it with my 95. It had the 3 bolt autos. Regular hubs work fine but why settle for plastic ends when you can get all metal. I agree with bronc95 get them from 4 wheel parts. I had mine delivered to the door from them. They were pretty quick.

exactly... I had my stock plastic ends crack on me after a long day of wheeling as I went through a water crossing. Switched to the Warn Premiums (all metal)... no problems since!
Thanks for the reply’s. I went ahead and ordered the premiums and spindle nuts from four wheel. I’ve had the premiums in the past, and prefer them over the standards.
Click my signature and look in the Brakes & Hubs photo album - it shows exactly why the 3-screw hubs need the conversion (really just a pair of old-style spindle nuts). Jeff's BroncoGraveyard.com sells the nuts for $12/pair.
