Which is strange I didn't get any air Injection codes .
I'll have to run them again, must be forgetting or read them wrong .
im just counting check engine lights no code reader

Had a couple people give me their opinion on the exhaust smell , they said they didn't notice anything and just smells like an old truck . It hasn't smelled as rich to me either of late .
I've been doing short trips (maybe 10 miles max one way ) mix highway and stop and go city, dump run , hauling a little over a ton for half the miles driven, and got Average 10.5 Miles per gallon . That isnt half bad ! Running on Mostly 92 octane in the tank. Big improvement over the 7.5 mpg that caught my attention .
A couple questions for you guys ,
Does the fuel system go into open loop when idling ?
haven't noticed any pinging with EGR Vaccum unplugged (10 BTDC timed, and usually 87 octane fuel) Just the EGR CEL,
Would the block off plate and hook back up vacuum then cause it to ping ? And it's only not pinging now because no vacuum, and system won't change timing advance due to no vacuum , so EEC thinks the EGR is not functioning?
