LED's & hyperflashing ??

LED's & hyperflashing ??
When upgrading turn signal bulbs to LED, is hyperflashing a potential issue on older trucks such as my 2014 or just on newer models? I've done some LED upgrades but only lights that are constant when on; back-up, cargo light, & interior. Thanks.

it was a problem on ALL trucks and cars not equipped with LED's from the factory.
but over the past few years LED light manufacturers have started adding resisters to the bulbs so they look like regular light bulbs to the vehicles.

As I understand, the hyperflashing only occurs in the dash indicators even though the led bulb is working properly. Would like to do the turn signal bulbs in the mirrors but am wondering about getting an entire aftermarket led marker/turn signal unit. Previously replaced just the bulbs for the marker lights as those had burned out; but could only find the 2825 bulb in white which kind of overcomes a lot of the amber lens. Go going with an entire unit wouldn't be much different cost than 4 new bulbs and, as I understand, wouldn't cause hyperflashing. ????
