I have been having na issue for a while where my transw will occasionally "puke" fluid from what appears to be the drivers side somewhere near the shift linkage area ..when it happens it is a decent amount of fluid not just a regular drip type leak. Yesterday I removed the torque converter and drained it and there was not even 2 quarts of fluid in it and the color was very dark(pics attached). I am wonderinf that means that something has gone bad inside the trans that would require a rebuild or if the 2 things are unrelated?
I am attaching pics of the fluid and the front seal area....also if it matters the truck has been sitting for 2 months with no engine and the trans not turning and it has puked fluid like 3 times since...any help is
greatly appreciated
not sure with it not running/driving but maybe it needs.... something. maybe its trying to have babies and you will have a new trans by winter :-)! I wish I was closer I would come yank that thing out and pull it down and re seal and replace the wear parts just for something to do.

LOL...I wish you were too
Since I am putting ina higher performance motor I am gonna look into a mildly built C6 before rebuilding this one...i figure the cost of having it rebuilt isn't too far off
