5-speed shifting problems
My 89 f 150 doesn't like to shift into 1st or 2nd when it's cold. I have the 5-speed Mazda M 50-D, which was just rebuilt.
The problem is so bad that when it's cold I can hardly get the thing into first gear, then I have to pull like crazy to get it into second.
When I got the truck back from the shop the whining noise was gone, but now I'm stuck with this problem. He told me to bring it back and he will put synthetic oil in the tranny, which I doubt will fix the problem.
Any ideas?
