2000 E450 V10 speedo issue

Hi All new member from the UK wondered if you could help with a speedo issue on my Winnebago class c E450 based. Speedo needle rests all the way around the gauge to the right when I get to 40mph it moves up to 75mph and stays there regardless of speed opver 40 mph. Appreciate it may need a cluster replacement just checking if there are any other options to try?

Do you have a scanner that can read the speed signal from the OBD port?

thanks for the reply sorry do not have a scanner is there a specific scanner I should get?

Along with a laptop computer and the proper OBD ELM interface the free FORScan program would be a top suggestion from me. It does have a learning curve not too terribly difficult to navigate, plenty of YouTube videos to help one through the process.

Here's a thread I posted some time ago detailing your year's instrument cluster: Cluster Anatomy Might be something there that's helpful.
