I just did a 1300 mile trip towing our 8K lb Airstream. The Lie-O-Meter says we averaged 14.3 MPG. I kept the speed around 66-67 MPH on the highways and the speed limit when they were lower.

You can put the dash in engineering mode and apply a correction to the AFE (mileage).

Good to know. I didn't calculate the MPG manually to know the exact MPG. The on board computer may have been correct. Usually they are close but not always.
I completed a 3000 mile trip pulling a solitude 5th wheel. The truck was pretty accurate. I calculated by hand each time I filled up, and the truck was pretty close, usually within .5 mpg.

Hand calculation was 10.845.
That’s a wash IMO.
I think I had to correct mine diwn 6%. Just towed 7k miles, heavy, with hills and the DTE vs the distance to destination would track to the mile over 220 miles.
Final result, 27k gross weight with 5er, 70 mph and 9.1 mpg. These trucks are phenomenal.
