if you tow at the upper end of the capacity frequently you might have some internal debating to do. If I was towing 15000lbs across the country regularly I would stick to the stock size honestly.
I have a gas engine on 37s and I’ve towed heavier with it just fine. It doesn’t win a race but it had pulled a dump trailer at the trucks limit and got the job done. I also don’t generally pull heavier loads more than 50-10miles down the road so that helps.
just depends on what you’re after but I think even 37s can look small sometimes.
If I had just fitted a full Carli kit like that I would for sure be running the 37's. The 4.30 gears and the super low first of the ten speed will easily handle the tires you selected. I run 35's on stock suspension and 3.73's and the truck is a rocket, even at high altitude where I live. I also need to run tire chain in the winter, barring that requirement, 37's for sure.
I vote 37's. To me, 35's look small on these trucks. From what I've read, with the right wheel offset you won't have any rub with 37's.
maybe not at the grocery store but what about offroad. and with what rim offset or diam. and what tire brand and model . theres alot of variables for a blanket statement
I would say 37s but that may present further issues when it comes to carrying a full-size spare. I ran 37s on my 250 and between my in-bed toolbox/fuel tank and the full-size spare, I had about two feet of usable bed space with an eight-foot bed.
In over a million miles of driving, I've dropped the spare tire on my vehicles exactly zero times. I've had half a dozen different punctures over the years, but it's really easy to plug a tire on the spot and move on.
I have a Carli kit sitting in my garage as well because I have yet to decide what tires to get. I do think 37’s look best but boy do I not want to hve to deal with rubbing, etc.
After agonizing between 35 vs 37 I decided to go with a bit more aggressive tread and chose the Toyo 35x12.5x18 RT trail mounted on 18x9 +18 Method 305 NV Im happy with the way it turned out, at least for now.

Looks good. If you ever get tired of those you can go with a 315/70/18 which is about exactly inbetween a ‘35’ and ‘37’ in height and the same width or .1 inch skinner depending on brand.
