I would like to put a Np 205 in my 1970 f100 but I don't know what the difference is between a divorced or married transfer case. Is there is a length difference or something else that would make one better than the other? I have a np435 for a transmision. Did the 67-72 line come with np205's?

The married or mated case bolts directly to the tailhousing of the transmission, the divorced or remote case has a driveshaft between the tranny and the t-case. i'm assuming that your truck is currently a 4x4 so just get under it and check it out then get a NP 205 that mounts in the same way.
