No Brakes
2003 Nav 5.4L - coming home yesterday - brake petal went to the floor, from being perfect...
Just wondering if there is a common leak area on these so I can at least have a starting point - like if it used a valve block, etc - or I guess 20 yr old brake lines can just fail somewhere (northeast)
I did get the red BRAKE light come on and warning that fluid was low... so got to be a leak somewhere.
Thanks
another one either at the same time or because of better pressure blew a leak too - but this one is really hard to get at without a lift for sure... I can't even tell which one it is since it is at a junction where like 2 or 3 all come down....
So I have the rest all ready to go... are these pre-bent lines (stainless) my best option for replacement, or should I go with copper? - and some people are telling me they can use compression fittings and just splice out sections, etc...
Has anyone used the pre bents like this, or will it be impossible to replace them directly with or without a lift?
These do have a couple places that need to be joined with couplings but if they didn't do that, the lines would have been 15 feet long lol
The company I used was Inline tube - just wondered if anyone else tried them and if this stuff is a s good as they say, etc - I only wanna do this whole thing once...
Thanks!
