front rearend seal replacement
Hi guys well I'm getting ready for winter and I was starting the process of replacing the u-joints on the end of the front axles, while tearing apart the left side I glanced over and saw the right side tire had rearend grease running down the tire
So I kinda looked at it and then looked in my book and if I'm not mistaken I believe in order to replace the seals I need to remove both axles at the same time, and remove the pumpkin, how am I to get the old seals out??? Do they just pull out with some prying and such and then just kinda tap the new ones in??? Any helpful tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated. Oh yea it's 1978 F150 with a 351M and C6 auto.
