Beware: EBay Rams Horn Alert!

This is not for a Y Block, it is a 1962 casting for the 302/332 truck block.

Carl, is there anyway to tell the difference between a y-block(292-312) to the larger engine manifolds? I don't want to get screwed over at a swap meet. Thanks, -4sped

The easiest way is to look at the bolt pattern. The ones that fit a 292/312 all have the bolt holes in a straight line. The Lincolns are staggered at the ends.

Hmm.. Why won't these fit the 292, 312?

It sure looks like the holes are in a straight line to me, I'm confused..

Yep, they are for a Y and I apologize. Didnt look close enough at the pattern and went by the casting ID.
Seems like others got confused as the seller added a comment that he received several EMails.

What do you expect to pay for a set of horns, when you find them?

Good ones on EPay often go $250 and up.
They look nice on an open hood roadster but for the money I went headers in the truck.

I guess then that the 55.00 that I spent (including shipping) was well worth it.

thanks again

Marc,

At 55 bucks, you got a good deal.
About ten years ago I found a set, the junk yard stuck me 85 bucks each, would not budge on price, but they do look great, and was much easier to install dual exhaust. Have not seen another pair since.
