Had the GTechniq's Crystal Serum Ultra applied with EXO 5 on top. Truck was about two weeks off the lot and we did a wash, clay bar, and polish first. The truck was clean from day one and the paint was almost perfect so we polished a couple of factory defects. Looks great with the finished product, feels amazing and time will tell of the product lasts. It has a 9 year warranty, and I think the Gtechniq is a good product from the reviews. I would recommend it at this point but they’re maybe better products out there. My first professional applied ceramic coating so I don’t fully know what to expect on longevity other than the listed 9 year warranty. It is way better than anything I have applied in the past so I hope I will feel the same way in a year or two.
I'm doing a CQ.UK 3.0 surface test on my F-450. It doesn't fit in wash bays, and haven't had time to pull out the pressure washer yet, so it has months of grime on it. I suspect it will wash right off and bead and shine like new. At least the cab will. I have not polished and coated the bed yet.
I actually just tried out the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax last night on the wife's truck
the truck was filthy , hadn't been washed in 2 months
Took her to the car wash, scrubbed her down and when it was wet I applied the blue bottle, rubbed it in with a microfiber , then dried it with another new microfiber cloth
this AM before it got hot I applied a coat of the Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Detailer, and here are the results, it works pretty good , once applied it's seems hard to get off...... not sure if it's because I didn't do any prep work to the truck before application, just a quick wash last night
I'm still on the fence if iam going to use it on my superduty......

The wax, or the detailer was hard to remove?
I haven't used those specific products, but do know with some of the ceramic spray sealants, the amount of product applied can make it more difficult to completely remove. It's easy to over apply. Also some don't like to sit too long before wiping. I haven't used a detail spray that was hard to remove though.
As for the paint prep, as far as I know that just helps with bonding and durability of the product. If the paint has a lot of contamination the product probably won't last as long.
I have a black 2021 F250 that I had professionally paint corrected and ceramic coated in San Antonio, Texas. About once a month, I wash, dry and spray on a detail product and the paint looks perfect. No water spots or anything. The trick is to have shade or cloud cover when you do it.
Just a word of caution. Any true Ceramic, ones that contain Si2O, can harden on the surface if not wiped off properly and leave streaks that can only be removed with a polisher. Also if you do not clay bar the paint first, any grit on the surface is locked in too. In that case, don't try to remove it with a polisher as you can actually cause more damage as it can scratch and leave the paint hazy. All these ceramic product use SiO2 in them, the resins used to bond it to the paint are what make it last. Since sprays aren't meant to last long, they work best for a quick detail to get a shine, and wear off quickly. If you want it to last, polish the paint first, then apply a good coating, and not the spray on type. Those are great though for a quick wipe down and for boosting existing Ceramic. In any case though, you really should at least clay the paint before using any of these products.
