1970 F600 decode

Hello, didn’t know if I should start a new post or reply to this one, I appreciate your time. Trying to decode for new king pins. Thanks.

D = 330 2V HD FT gas V8

C = Ontario Truck Plant

G55571 = 1970 numerical series, September 1969 production

156 = 156 inch wheelbase

T = Red

F610 = F600 gas, 4x2, 21,000 lbs GVWR

4B8
4B = Black with black HD leather grain vinyl
8 = Standard cab

M = Clark model 285V five speed direct transmission

F3C
F3 = Eaton model 15201 two speed rear axle, 15,000 lbs capacity, 6.33 / 8.81 ratios
C = Ford 6,000 lb capacity front axle

21000 = 21,000 lbs GVWR

164 3800 = 164 certified net HP @ 3800 RPM

47 = Cincinnati District Sales Office

No special order.

As per other posts, it's the front axle capacity that you need for the king pins.

Thanks for that. I looked through every post I could find before I asked, but couldn’t find the front axle reference anywhere. Have a great rest of the weekend.
