2000 7.3 drive train, 2006 body, 2010 nose
Hey hey, has anyone come across a manufacturer of a …rivet pocket flare….for our vans?? I’m about to install my Harley rims with an aggressive thread and the backspacing sends the rims about 1.5 inches out….

 

Bushwhacker has flares, but they are not the rivet pockets, there is even fiberrglass prerunner front fenders available online, they flare out and have a larger wheel opening for up front.

 

hey, thanks….multiple choices with hinge side doors…but after the paint , “ the beast” will be getting all custom Harley badges similar to the F series…I want to stay away from the…conversion van …looks

 

I removed my flares after a BMW backed into my van damaging the passenger side flare and denting the rear passenger barn door, never fixed it, been thinking about bending the door straighter, pulling some of the wall back, but I've lost interest in the looks of my van, just need it to be dependable, seems if I put too much effort and money into something an idiot will come along and destroy it, people don't pay attention anymore, too many gadgets to distract them, and little punishment for breaking the laws, tho I am pretty sure my E350 would have handled a head on collision with a Jeep far better than my old 73E100, being a unibody design, the 99 would have gone through it like tissue paper, and I'd have been able to drive home. The BMW needed the entire rear replaced, folded in pretty good, driver backed into me in front of the police department, was drunk, his breath was like a brewery, cops never asked, and sent him on his way, gathering on the square, serve alcohol to those you know are driving themselves home, acceptable due to the revenue it gains, I am not impressed in their actions.
If I could customize another, I'd pull the tinted windows and put diamond plate aluminum in the holes, custom cut like the glass, go apocalyptic, build a battering ram, dads claimed its what I was going for on my 89, all the steel I added to the front, if it can ever get running again maybe I can finish, BTW I hate windows, but I got my 99 E350 back in 2001 for a steal, just couldn't pass it up, the very fact I still have it is a testament to its durability, I'm rough on vehicles, blown several engines to pieces, Internationals grenade at my presence it seems, Chevy didn't do much better, Funny how I have had many Fords and never blown one up, even after driving several miles without coolant.
I have a push bar from JcWhitney on my 99 E350, was for the 96 Econolines, good luck finding one now tho, there are several made for police cars/trucks, they use universal brackets, get creative and you can fit one, I took one from a 96 Bronco and put it on my 89 Econoline, they have thick rubber on them for pushing things.

 

Great pusher, bolt on angle iron brackets, temporary until I can get a bracket welded up to bolt to the frame and bar to strengthen both, vans running on 4 cylinders right now so all work is off, sits at a garage trying to get solved, the 300 should be carbureted, fuel injection ruined them as its impossible to find a shop to work on them.
