2022 f350 bad engine harness replace?
After removing the fuse box it looks like the harness plugs are really corroded aswell.
How hard is it to replace the harness?
dealer says it is backordered so i cant have the truck sitting for a month or more. Found a new second hand harness and thinking about doing the job myself.
Just received a Kohler engine that I've been waiting for for 9 months, took almost a year to receive a large vacuum pump for a commercial extraction unit, I currently have 6 large desiccant dehumidifiers on order for 8 months, 4 30ton AC units. Semi trailers etc.
It's just not Ford, it's everything thing.
Isuzu box truck, it been 2 months on a AC compressor. I have 6 Super Duty's sitting on the in order Q.... No timeline.

Being in the business as an owner I can relate. I know all about it.
It is amazing how fast we are becoming more like the third world countries,
20 years ago I spent some time on the mission field in Haiti. Their was to be a wedding
just before we left and some of the ladies were hoping to go to it.
They were not able to make it to the wedding as the plane was leaving and the wedding had been postponed
as the bride had not gotten her dress finished yet.
Back then I could not understand that scenario, now I can.
Ford is required to fulfill their legal obligations just like you.

If this is how things go for 1 to 2 year old trucks, things don't look good for those of us who typically own Ford trucks long past their warranty period.
hey so they sell the plugs with therminals separate? Have you ran into this exact problem with the fuse box plugs corroded? I was thinking to just clean the terminals and install the new fuse box but afraid in the long run this will come back as my problem again because i know once those plugs corrode a little, they will always keep corroding
Ah, going on 4 mil miles on our fleet.
I think the 22 year will be the worst Super duty, and maybe the early 23s for problems. With that being said I just picked up a 22 a month ago.
I guess this is what loyal obedient customers do, just take, in the raw.
To me it's numbers all about numbers You are never going to bad a thousand percent every time. The mass number of vehicles, No matter the manufacturer at this point, You're always going to have some that have problems.
It's all about the numbers. That was a manufacturer I would be all about getting new product out the door, what's more important thousands of customers stockholders sales people etc versus a few trucks that will have issues.
The parts will catch up, this is a free country nobody asked you to buy a Ford, nobody's telling you today You have to drive that Ford. You can go across the street to the Chevy dealer, GMC dealer or the Ram dealer or whomever you would like and buy their vehicle.
By the way, I own a 04 E350, just a couple thousand miles short of 400,000, runs like a top. To be honest with you with warranties, I truly care less. And my younger days one of the first things I used to do was pull off the DPF and pretty much delete the warranty.
Thank you
