That's pretty bad. 1 out of 12 seats sold. 11 seats empty to 1 seat occupied. But it looks like The Nationals are worse off. The Opening Pitch isn't 2 hours before game time. It happens around the same time that they sing The National Anthem. Then the game begins. Traffic and parking can't be so bad, that it looks like they are only selling 1 ticket for every 100 seats. And I don't believe the "protest" narrative either. It's impossible that the entire MLB territory is against The Rainbow Flag and/or Pelosi. Are other Major League Baseball teams also suffering from poor ticket sales?

Fans are fickle, but the prices they charge these days is way too high. maybe the fans are finally putting their foot down. But I doubt it. That would require some solidarity, and we are not known for that anymore.

Pricing and availability varies. But baseball games are cheap, in comparison to every other professional sport. If you are like me, and you are living on a budget....... Oakland A's tickets start at $7 and SF Giants tickets start at $9. That is a steal. Especially here in The Bay Area, where we could take public transit, which is priced at what you pay for a candy bar, right up to the ballpark.

Interesting. The last time I checked SF Giants prices, (many years ago) they wanted $77 for the cheapest ticket. I must have been looking at something other than the general admission prices, because there is no way prices would drop that much. Nothing in today's age goes down in price. Of course, it is a moot point as I have no way of getting up there until I get a vehicle. Since the vehicle I want is in Livermore, maybe the day I buy it there will be a game on, and I can go see them. That would be the only way it would happen.

The last time we went to a game, we got tickets 3 or 4 rows back along the 3rd base line for about $45 a pop. It was a great spot, and we got at least a couple of chances at a foul ball.

I think the new pitch clock is speeding up the game, and may attract a larger audience.

The last time I went, I got seats in the same area. We sat right behind the visitor team dugout. Front row box seats. Just walked up to the box office at the park on game day, and asked for the best seats available. I forget what she paid. But it was not much. I remember my girlfriend said that the food and drinks cost more than the tickets. I do remember that she drew the line at the souvenir prices. Everything was too expensive. Pennants, caps, jerseys...... Cost more than the food.

But I've got to wonder how they can run a professional baseball club when only 1 in every 200 seats is sold. That place is empty. Even at their worst, the Giants got people to come to Candlestick. I remember when I was a kid, Candlestick was one of those places where they sold you a beer without checking ID. A guy would walk around with beers on a tray, and he never cared how young you were. Just have $5 ready. My buddies and I would get tickets in the bleachers, and go crazy eating all of the park food and drinking beer. The Athletics were so bad, that they had to have $1 nights. Far from a sellout, but people came for the $1 hot dogs. It was never an empty stadium like that.

Of course, I may never again watch an A's game. They fired Glen Kuiper, so I may not watch anymore games on television. And they're moving to Las Vegas. I doubt that getting tickets for an A's game is what I'll be driving to Las Vegas for. Too many other things to do in Vegas. Barry Manilow. Penn & Teller. The Jets. Britney Spears. Hookers. Buffets. Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. Ultimate Fighting.
Don't forget off road race truck rentals!

Found a 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab in Modesto. pretty much the same condition as the one in Livermore, but without the tow package, and with only 108k miles. they offer financing, but they want $9k for it. The Livermore truck is $4k but closer to $5k with taxes title etc. of course the 4k is the cash price. The website still says they finance, but I called them back in April and was told they no longer do that. I wonder what it would cost to sue them for false advertising?

Hold on a little longer. If you can wait, the sales are slowing and the prices are dropping. They will need to get those cars off the lot. Just like a store, inventory has to turn. The dealers will get desperate enough that they will offer zero percent or close to zero financing, just to get those cars off the lot. You might be able to get a new car, with financing. A Ford Maverick may be in your future.

Don't buy from a dealer, got it. However, private parties don't do the smog test (required by sellers) and don't do the paperwork for the DMV.

Things get strange and stranger. Republicans are now at the side of Feinstein. There's an advantage to whispering in her ear. Especially now that the carrion feeders are circling, waiting to feast on her carcass.

Watching this is more entertaining than television.

By law, Feinstein could be expelled. It takes 2/3 vote. The Senate is about equally divided. If they can get most of one party, and close to half of the other party......... I better stop daydreaming.
