How did you establish the smell was volatile organic compounds?
I assumed that the foul odor was residual chemicals from manufacturing like toluene or butadiene.
But the more I think about it, I think it's just dead animal. I think an animal died in whatever warehouse this came out of and these mats got wrapped and shipped out.
Nice..
Another example of someone somewhere with no cares to give.
I bought 2 sets in the last 6 months. No odors at all. Great product. Best mats I’ve ever had. Zero off gassing odors.
Sounds like a critter got into the shipment or it came in contact with something nasty somehow. Id ask them to replace them. They are a stand up company from my experience.

Yeah. Thats what it sounds like. I'll get them to swap for the non-decomposed body smelling version
You will love the mats. Very nice with great coverage. Vacuuming is rarely needed for me now since I take a damp cloth and wipe them off in place once a week. Great design.
Those look nice, how do they hold to abuse? I use my truck for kayak fishing and we are always tracking saltwater mud into the truck, and loading the backseat floor with wet Hobie Mirage drives and fishing stuff.
