Need help quickly
I have a 94 F150 4x4 I was driving it pulled up to house hit 4 wheel drive button and now my truck is like inn neutral. When I shift down into drive it sound like engine engages, but it’s like it’s stuck in neutral. I can unhook batt cable for a bit then jump in and it will go into gear for a sec move around then pop nothing. Before it never slipped or anything

Sounds like you need a new transfer case shift motor
When the limit switches malfunction, you get a no shift condition
It needs to know where it is at to allow a shift
There are a few parameters that must be met for 4x4 low operation
There is a chance you hit the button twice or the low button if equipped?
Either way, the park brake must be applied and it in park or neutral with a 5 speed to engage low range
There are a few strategies oner the years, you try the park brake trick and maybe it will come out of it
You can pull the motor off the back of the transfer case and manually shift it to unstrand yourself using pliers
