I have a 2002 f150 4x4 with 5.4. recently put crate motor in was cranking from seat now will not. I can jump silinoid over but not getting power from ignition to silinoid and half of my fuse panel is dead. Anyone have any idea one where to start trouble shooting this problem.
When you say fuse panel are you talking about the one under the dash or the one in the engine compartment. I'd check the fuses in the power distribution box in the engine compartment first if your fuse panel under the dash is half dead.

When you put the ignition switch in the start position, the voltage is routed to fuse 21 (15A), if your truck is has a "remote anti-theft personality module" then there is a "Starter interrupt relay" which is engaged by the RAP module. If no RAP module then the voltage is supplied to the DTR (digital transmission ranger sensor), from there it goes to the Starter motor relay (solenoid)
