Hey guys,
Does anyone know who makes a nice full exhaust kit. My truck is a 1990 350 extra cab. Mine is getting a little rusty. I figured if it needs replaced anyway, I might as well get something to boost performance. What kind of gains could I get and is it worth the extra money vs just replacing with OEM style.
Banks makes the ncest headers I've ever installed on a vehicle. The total price for the exhaust is spendy now. It will perform better than the iron manifolds but it isnt going to be noticeable like bolting on a super charger.
My manifolds don't "need" replaced. But I'm a mechanic and I often fire up the parts cannon when I have to work my own stuff in. Basically I'm pretty busy so when I make time to fix my own stuff I make sure it's not going to be a problem anytime soon
They do make a difference but those power numbers might be on an engine dyno and not a chassis dyno measure at the wheels. I did the headers and Stinger exhaust with a bunch of other stuff at the same time.
