AT Shift Cables
Just Spit Ball'n here. It seems there are many people that are having big issues with AT linkage when they are swapping engines and transmissions on their rides. I'm working on my 88 F150 and I got a transmission shift cable for a later model Ford F150 due to an ordering error. It looks like that shift cable would work great and solve a lot of problems associated with the OEM linkage. A custom capture bracket bolted to the firewall and another on the rear of the engine would do the trick. Has anyone tried this with any success?
