Lifting the X
Well, it has been over a year of waiting and the X is now on order. A Black, 6.0 PSD, Limited, 4x4 Excusion. I am lifting it about 12 inches all suspension. What I was wondering is: a buddy is trying to sell me a set of 14" lift springs off of a 2001 F250 crew cab V10 Long bed. I estimate that because of the weight of the diesel, the front end will only lift about 12 inches, and because of the extra weight in the back half of the excursion, it will only lift the rear about 12 inches. Does anyone agree, disagree. Anybody know the actual front and rear weights of the F250/ Excursion? I am posting this in multiple places because I am in a hurry, so if that is a problem, I am sorry.
