They were built by Centurian, a conversion company. They also build 1/2 ton crew cabs. Oddly enough, they didn't buy crew cabs from Ford, they bought the individual body panels, sawed the back of the cab off, stretched the frame and welded the new panels on. A friend had one and the fit/finish was horrendous. You could watch the road go by at the door seals.

Don't have a picture; but we are considering buying a used one. It's a 1996 F150....Looks like a regular Ford truck but with with 4 doors? We didn't realize what a pain it would be to look up the bluebook...there is none!!
So....any advise on how much it would be worth?? They're asking $16,000. It's in great condition, low miles, 4 wheeldrive....but is there's no way to see if it's worth what they're asking?

Someone on FTE has one.
I can't remember his user name though.

Guys,
There is a website groups.yahoo.com/group/centurionconversions with lots of info and many places where these are for sale so you can get an idea of pricing.
These are "love me or hate me" vehicles. I love mine, it's an awesome vehicle but they have had many problems on the roof where the Bronco back end is grafted to the crew cab body.
If you like the look of the pre 97 Ford trucks and want a full size suv without the Excursion price tag, you could do worse than a Centurion.
