'92 Ranger 2.3L trouble code help
Hi,
I have been having problems with my truck. Sometimes it is a hard start, sometimes it cuts out under normal driving. Seems like it cuts out most between 1st-2nd shift or at freeway speeds in 5th. Usually it restarts but not always easily or quickly.
I replaced plugs and plug wires as well as the fuel filter. Some improvement especially starting, but still having problems.
I pulled the codes and got 222 and 556, I couldn't really get much from the diagnostic book and was hoping someone could here could help.
Also, I checked the fuel pump relay (fuse style) and it is fine. I am confused....I don't know if it is ignition or fuel or both.
