Boxlink is fine. That’s it. It’s kind of an underwhelming feature in my opinion and I’m looking for reasonably priced ideas to increase functionality. (I do know that e-track accessories fit.)
In general, I’d be interested to see creative ideas that you’ve done with your boxlink.
Has anyone done some sort of rail like this? (The one linked seems great, but I’m interested in something more homemade/less expensive - and, this is specifically for F150 Raptors so not sure it would fit my F350 anyway.)
Why not just make some then? You have not alluded to what you might want to use them for so it is hard to come up with suggestions for a mythical use.
I just use the supplied attachment points, much better than the nothing you used to get in a truck bed so I have been happy with them stock, use them all the time...

Boxlink, It’s kind of an underwhelming. Is putting it mildly. They are made only of plastic.🤔 Not worthy of a Super Duty accessory. It’s only good for holding down a light weight bungee net in my opinion. My 2004 Nissan Titan had a great system with heavy duty cast alloy cleats you could lock them in the bottom of the bed or alongside the perimeter of the bed. Ford has what looks like it’s close to it in there Maverick acccessories. https://accessories.ford.com/product...em-2-cleat-kit

My 22 also has steel tie downs in each corner.
If anybody thinks they can mod the boxlink to take useful weight, you might find the failure of the aluminum box to be your next issue.

The box link is great for items in the bed that aren’t super heavy. I use mine frequently.
But at the end of the day when I have something heavier I use the metal anchors lower in the corner of every super duty.
And when it’s something super heavy I’m not lifting it into the truck bed either way. Large heavy objects are a PITA to load in a truck. So in my case it ends up in my 14ft dump trailer that has massive d-rings welded in the inside and a much lower deck height with ramps to help get large stuff loaded & unloaded.
What are you putting in the bed that the metal anchors combined with box link aren’t able to secure?
I'd like to see my rear boxlink cleats converted into a bracket to securely hold a good sized fire extinguisher on one side and a 5 gallon "jerry can" on the other.

gosh.....there seems to be a number of ideas if you google "box link"
During bow hunting season, I use my box link mounts to hold 2x4's across the bed, put on a custom cut sheet of plywood and make a bed out of it. On the top is a sleeping bag/pillow, etc, below is a bow case tree stand, and hunting gear. I don't have a picture to show, because after the season I remove it all.

A safe 30” wide 40” deep and 72” high. Weight about 2500 lbs that I hope to lower it in the bed on it’s back. I’ll need to travel 2,500 miles with it over the Rockies. So I needs to be secured well.
