79 ford EFI conversion

I'd like to have any and all input, in converting a 79 inline 6 to a 302efi.
I have the donor truck complete, its an 86 ford.

im basically looking for help on what might need to be done ahead of time or what will have to be changed so on and so forth.

What transmission is in the donor truck? You will basically need everything attatched to the engine.

The Trannys an AOD 4 spd overdrive

im mainly wondering how many O2 sensors there are and so forth for the conversion

there's all sorts of useless crap lots of sensors.

Check out this 5.0 swap tech article , that should answer some of your questions.

That "useless crap and sensors" is what makes EFI so nice to drive...
