driveshafts question
well i am working into a 9" suspension lift for my 78 f-150 does anyone know how much i will need to extend my drive shafts and if i should have CV joints put on them due to the angle they will be at?..any info much appreciated...thanks in advance

i think you should put a cv style shaft on there with 9". not sure how much you should lenghten your drive shafts. just put on the lift then measure the lengh and take that to the driveshaft shop.

no prob. let me know how it goes, i am thinking about a 4'' or a 6" lift and want to run cv's but just not to sure whats involved or what it cost. all i know is that with 2'' lift in the back my rear front u-joint is at a bad angle and i have already busted a couple of them. good luck, post pics.
