1986 EFI System Worth
Thinking of selling the complete EFI system I just removed from my 1986 with the 302. If I sell it what would it be worth. If I do it would be sold local only and No shipping at all because there is too much and too heavy for me to mess with.

I'll spare you my opinion on carb swaps, but I would encourage you to keep the EFI components on hand. Even if you never have to deal with them again, the future is uncertain. You may not be subject to emissions testing, but you may in the future and carb swaps likely will not cut it. That may prompt a difficult and expensive search for an OEM fuel injection system. Also, a carb swap will likely detract from the value of you truck as a whole. Having the OEM pieces available would help protect the value of you vehicle. If you have the space, box up what you have and store it where you won't trip over it. If you still wonder about the value of the EFI pieces, they are commonplace and likely could be sourced at your local self serve wrecker for minimal cost, at least for the time being. Think of those poor souls in Kaliforniastan who are tripping over themselves trying to find air injection pumps and brackets. I'm sure we all threw out a boatload of those over time.
Of course, these are my opinions, together with a few dollars, they could likely buy you a cup of coffee.
