21 explorer XLT window malfunction

One button push Window goes down fine. But one button push to go up doesn't work properly. Window stops when I lift finger. Then when I hold the button to go all the way up it closes then goes down by itself. I have to let go of the switch close to the top and then hit the switch multiple times to get it to close without it coming all the way back down. Hope that makes sense. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
thanks

The switches on these Explorers are crap. The illuminated buttons on the left side of my steering wheel have been replaced and the switches that operate the third row seat have been replaced.

I'm glad I bought the 7yr - 100K mile ESP.
