Oil question
I know it's been asked a million times, but what oils are you guys running in the 330/361/391 engines? I have a 1975 F600 with a 361, I'm assuming the factory filled it with either straight 40w or 10w40. It sat from 2006 until June of last year when I bought it, got it running and drove it 10 miles home. It runs great, and needs brakes, and some basic maintenance items done.

10w-40 works. Rotella 15-40 will work.
I wouldn't use straight 40.
4 things: flow when cold, handle the heat, keep things clean so the lifters don't tick and some zinc for the high pressure job at the cam and lifter.
