2011 F350 Running wire through the door grommet (and some other questions)

Hi y'all, I'm a new member. Just got a 2011 F350 XL 6.2L gas supercab DRW (with 61,000 miles) full bed monster that I absolutely love. I added the aftermarket upfitter switches that are working perfectly and plan to add some lights to them for work utility lights. I've started to add power locks and windows (to the front doors) and have run into a snag that I haven't seen (at least in the first 20 threads on this forum). I thought/hoped I could just fish my wires through the door grommet from the door into the truck cab but there's this connector on the body side (see picture below) blocking the path. Since it's an XL model I assume that the only electrical connections coming through this massive plug are for the door-ajar sensor and the driver-side speaker. Unfortunately my picture wasn't great so you can't see that only a few pins in the top half of the plug appear to be present. I'm hoping/guessing? that I can drill through some of the bottom unused connector locations on both the connector itself and the corresponding location on the plug receptor on the body side and fish my wires through there? But since I can't tell what's on the body side I thought I should ask for y'all's guidance before taking this step. Or is there a better way to run wires from the door into the cab to connect to the door lock control module/power?

Second unrelated question: I downloaded the Torque app and OBDII plug-in which includes the opportunity for TPS monitoring but only for a four-wheeled vehicle. Does anyone know of a sensor that will work for a DRW truck (ie 6 wheel TPS monitoring)?

Third unrelated question: While messing around with the power lock install I discovered another wire about 10 inches above the door grommet connection. It's stripped as if ready to connect to something and is brown-ish in color (I'm a tad colorblind so it may be something "close" to brown). It protrudes about 1 inch or so from the cab side (I wish I had taken a picture but I'm not close to the truck currently) It wasn't connected to anything and there didn't seem to be any access on the door side for it to conceivably have been planned to access. Any thoughts?

I'd drill a hole. Shouldn't be anything on the body side.
