Wet Interior- 2017 Explorer XLT

Hey all. I know I’m an idiot. I left my sun roof completely open last night. We had some intense rain roll through central PA. I seems like most of the rain went into the head board as well as the center consol. I cleaned up as much as I could before I had to leave this morning. While driving to an appointment, the car started running a bit rough, a failed transmission light came on, then went right off. The car then has been running fine since. So I currently have no issues and car is running fine. However I’m concerned about how it did act and the light it showed. Should I check anything? Any suggestions? TIA!

The issue was probably related to the water in an electrical connection. Hopefully it dries out and the issue doesn't return. Use a Damp Rid for a week or 2 to pull out the extra moisture.
