Quick Question

Is there a way for me to lift the front of my 1950 ford f5 tow truck as i dont know how to and have made blocks for the back axle already.
No i am not squatting it.

Shackle extensions? But you'd have to do something with the steering stuff as well.

Personally I love your blunt humor and language, Your other thread was hilarious, but others may not so you otta be careful with cussing for no real reason.

Few ways to get there, longer shackles as mentioned above, new/re-arched springs, etc. Depends how far you are trying to raise it over stock, or if it's already down and you are trying to get back to stock ride height. If you are going higher than stock, you need to consider other items like the length of the steering arms, also raising it evenly so it doesn't adversely affect the angle of the king pins.

I want to give it a 2-3 inch lift on the front so it sits higher. Redneck rule of ride height if you can see the seat from outside it is too low.

I would look into new springs, or possibly getting yours re-arched. When you go up, it's going to add some bump steer, so you may want to look into a dropped pitman arm to counter it. If you want to do some major fab work, there's other options, like building a custom 4 link with heim joints and adding a track bar. The sky's the limit at that point.
