I bought:
(4) JK Motorsports aluminum rims - $2,630
(3) TrueDually steel rims - $1,165
(7) 275/65R20 Toyo Open Country ATIII load range E - $2702
Total cost $6500
The 20" JK aluminum rims are thicker(22.3mm thick at hub), and heavier than stock aluminum 19.5s (18.3mm thick at hub). Despite that, the 20" load range E tire and JK aluminum rim combo weighs less than stock 19.5 aluminum rims and 245/70R19.5 tires.
Also, the 20" TrueDually steel rims are also thicker (11mm at hub) and MUCH heavier than stock 19.5s (9.2mm at hub). Despite that, the 20" load range E tire and TrueDually steel rim combo weighs the same as stock 19.5 steel rims and 245/70R19.5 tires.
The JK and TrueDually rims mount up perfectly to the hub shoulder with stock lug nuts and hubcaps. The lugnuts are fully engaged with thread all the way to the end.
The new tires &rims poke out past the rear fender an inch or 2 with 275/65R20 tires. The front tires do not rub the swaybar in turns, nor do the rims grind on tie rod.
Also, the full size 20" spare tire fit perfectly under the bed.
I put a few miles on the setup, and all seems to be well. There is plenty of space between the rear duals to allow for larger tires if someone desired, but I would not do it. The toyo at3 275/65R20s are a decent comparison to the stock wheels and tires, and they do not need any lift or mods to make them clear.

Figured. It is an annoying challenge for sure. I wonder if they could be stuck to the inside of the outer dually? I know that would be awful if you moved the wheel to the front. But if you left it as only an outer dually??
Also, did you clear coat the wheels, or are you just planning to polish as needed?

They were polished like a mirror from JK. They got pretty beat up during mounting @ balancing etc. I looked into clearcoats, and clear powdercoats, but in the end I ordered a GTechniq wheel coating kit. Link here It was super easy, came with everything and it's been holding up good so far. I've put almost 2k miles on the tires, offroad everyday.
Elevation Off Grid is now in the "stock" 20" wheel game. From their website:
"Introducing the most functional & capable 20” dually wheel for the F-450 & F-550 platform, the EOG DRW Pro. This wheel package is inclusive of 6 total wheels - 4 aluminum wheels and 2 inner rear steel wheels.
This is the only 10x225 wheel able to maintain factory track width when compared to commercial 19.5 from Ford or RAM. In our testing on the 19.5 wheel, even when running a 275 or 295 sized tire, poke beyond the stock dually flare is .5" - 1.25” per side, respectively. These tests were conducted with the BF Goodrich KO3 and HD Terrain tires.

Delivers maximum traction with a vast tire selection
Interesting. Thanks for posting. It looks like there is a lip to hold a weight on the rear outers. I wonder if they have a tie rod rub concern in the front. I'd like to see a pic at an angle that would show exactly how much tire is outside the fender.
