Keep blowing fuse 9 on the truck. I narrowed it down to only when the truck is running, and when the fuze blows I have no tach or automatic on the tranny. I know this fuse protects the PCM and I checked relay 1, any known wires that would be causing this? Thanks for any help.
My 1994 factory service manual say that fuse 9 is 25amps and powers the power point socket near the ash tray, but not the cigarette lighter. So I would check the connections benind the power point socket first.
I wouldn't be surprised if ford moved the fuses around between 1993 and 1994. That fuse shouldn't power the pcm.
Edit: so I did a little bit of digging, and if your tach dies when the fuse blows, than fuse 9 in 1993 is the same as fuse 17 in 1994. First thing I would check is the transmission control switch on the end of the shifter. Remove the steering column plastic and make sure the switch wires aren't chaffing against the column

that was exactly it. The wires coming from the shifting lever to the plug had worn on the column causing a short. With that and my overdrive button never having worked since owning the truck, I’ll just pick up a new shifter assembly. Also got to read some schematics so I learned something new. Thanks a ton for your help.
